Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how No Cap Insurance collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you.

This template is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. You should have qualified counsel review and adapt this Policy before relying on it.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by No Cap Insurance ("we", "us", "our") through gonocap.com and any related pages, forms, quote tools, portals, phone calls, SMS messages, and emails (collectively, the "Site"). It does not apply to information you provide directly to an insurance carrier or to a third-party service outside of the Site, which are governed by their own privacy notices.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:
  • Identifiers and contact info — name, email, phone number, postal address, date of birth.
  • Insurance-related information — vehicle details (VIN, make, model, mileage), property details, driving history, prior insurance, coverage preferences, business information (for commercial policies), and any information needed to prepare a quote or bind coverage.
  • Financial information — payment method details processed by third-party providers, and information used for premium finance where applicable.
  • Sensitive information (as permitted by law) — driver's license number, and, where allowed, credit-based insurance score inputs.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URL, and interaction data.
  • Communications — the content of messages, chat transcripts, and call recordings where lawful and disclosed.

3. Sources of Information

We collect information (a) directly from you; (b) from insurance carriers, managing general agents, wholesalers, and prior insurers; (c) from third-party data providers (e.g., motor-vehicle reports, credit-based scores, property databases, LexisNexis and similar); (d) from public records; and (e) from cookies and analytics providers.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:
  • facilitate quotes, underwriting, and policy servicing;
  • communicate with you about your quote, policy, or inquiry;
  • respond to claims, complaints, and support requests;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, and industry obligations;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • improve, secure, and operate the Site;
  • perform analytics and, with your consent where required, marketing.

5. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Where required (e.g., under the GDPR), our legal bases include your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, our legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention and business operations), and compliance with legal obligations.

6. How We Share Information

We share information with:
  • Insurance carriers, MGAs, wholesalers, and licensed producers to prepare quotes, bind coverage, and service policies;
  • Service providers that host our Site, run our CRM, deliver email or SMS, process payments, run analytics, and provide fraud-prevention services;
  • Third-party quote-tool vendors such as LeadConnector, APISystem, and Propeller Bonds when you use their embedded forms;
  • Affiliates and referral partners in accordance with applicable law and your consent where required;
  • Legal and regulatory recipients — courts, regulators, law enforcement, and other authorities where required, or to enforce our rights;
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

7. No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may qualify as "sharing" or "sale" under some state laws; where it does, we honor opt-outs. See Section 12 for how to opt out.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure engagement, and support marketing. You can control cookies in your browser and, where offered, through our cookie banner. We currently do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals; we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

9. Third-Party Embedded Forms and Links

Our Site embeds quote and application tools operated by third parties (including LeadConnector, APISystem, and Propeller Bonds) and may link to other third-party sites. Information you submit through those tools is collected and processed by those providers under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, to comply with legal obligations (including insurance record-keeping requirements), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by category and jurisdiction.

11. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to (a) know what personal information we hold about you and how we process it; (b) request access, correction, or deletion; (c) opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; (d) restrict or object to certain processing; (e) receive a portable copy; and (f) withdraw consent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other state residents: submit a rights request to info@gonocap.com or by mail to the address below. We may verify your identity before responding. You may designate an authorized agent.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): you may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If we transfer your data internationally, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms.

13. Communications and TCPA Consent

By providing your contact information you consent to receive communications from us and our authorized partners — including telephone calls, SMS/MMS text messages (including autodialed and prerecorded messages), email, and voicemail — regarding your request and related services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS, HELP for help, or email info@gonocap.com to opt out of other communications. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages related to your policy or account.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact info@gonocap.com and we will delete it.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Site with an updated "Effective" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
